With over 1000+ broadcast credits and a multi-genre slate, Flying Broom Pictures founder Renée's career in television is as expansive as her story engine brain. From her early career working on factual programs such as The Gruen Transfer  (CJZ/ABC), to becoming a frontline news producer with A Current Affair (Nine Network) chasing the next scoop, Renée's keen eye for gripping stories and interrogating the truth naturally lead her to pursue a path in scripted and narrative driven storytelling. After spending time in children’s animation development,  Renée moved to Summer Bay, where she is currently a Script Editor and Screenwriter at Home and Away (Seven Studios), Australia’s number one rating drama with 1.5 mil nightly audience, and sold to over 140 countries across the globe. 

An expert in episodic narrative and plotting story, Renée has a gift in finding meaning and safety through darkness, taboos, rebirth and transformation which is evident in her slate of screen projects in development. From sinister family crime drama EASTWOOD, to the true paranormal haunting story of THE CHILDREN, Renée’s diverse storytelling ability makes her the best at what she does. Often, she will work with pleasure in writers rooms and provide guidance and feedback to improve someone else’s product to make them more attractive to the audience, producers and market.
